(AL) Now for a species that likely needs no introduction: the Curlew. While many are familiar with the Curlew, the likelihood of seeing or hearing one is decreasing. Once widespread across Ireland, its evocative call synonymous with summer, the Curlew is now the most threatened breeding wader species in Ireland.
